Kainé Youth Collective

The Collective is a group of Black and minority ethnic young people based in Leicester. Members have performed at our Black History Season roadshows and the Youth Showcase at Curve. The Collective also take on the role of a steering group for all Kainé’s youth work. Special projects include the Social Activism Research Project, starting January 2021.

Kainé Youth Activity Groups
There is an informal environment where young people can explore their creativity, understand their cultural identities, improve their emotional well-being and mental health, and build a sense of belonging. Kainé Management encourage young people to have fun and enjoy the following three activity groups at Kainé Management, Pedestrian, Horsefair Street, Leicester. LE1 5BP.
Kainé Young Kings
The Kainé Young Kings program, offered by Kainé Management, is a specialised programme for boys aged 10 to 18. This program focuses on providing weekly interactive sessions for young boys in that specific age group. They encourage a young boys' group learning of real-life skills. Its main goals are to:

Kainé Youth General Project
Kainé Youth Collective offers an opportunity for young People to discuss, share, and reflect on views regarding contemporary issues. The Kainé Youth Expansion Programme aims to increase access to free, inclusive youth activities, presenting young people with support, guidance, and opportunities. It provides young people with their learning. Its the main goals are to:

Skill-building activities.
Launch Kainé Youth Collective Junior division for 10-18-year- olds. This will provide their own regular meetings to manage work for this target group and implement sessions. The implementation of this offshoot of our Kainé Youth Collective will empower them to suggest, manage, and implement programmes for children and young people and feed into the board via our youth directors.
