Kainé is growing, and our future depends on a clear, courageous, and community-rooted strategy. We are seeking a Strategy Trustee who will help us turn ambition into action and guide the organisation toward strengthening community cohesion across Leicester.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Operations, Finance, Community Engagement, Youth, and Programmes to ensure we stay accountable to our mission and adaptable to the realities of our city. This role sits at the heart of our growth journey.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan and drive progress against agreed priorities.

  • Maintain and update implementation plans, ensuring clarity of timelines and responsibilities.

  • Liaise with Finance, Operations, Community Engagement and Programmes to ensure organisation-wide alignment.

  • Provide regular reports to the Board on progress, issues, risks and opportunities.

  • Ensure committee members have the information required to contribute effectively.

  • Attend Strategy Committee and Board meetings consistently, fulfilling duties expected of all Trustees
