Curve Gospel Choir was established as an initiative of the Leicester Sings Gospel Project, launched in September 2010. The project, run in partnership with Kainé Managemnt Group and Curve Theatre, organised 10 weeks of gospel and inspirational singing, open to all who wished to join. From the minute it was promoted the response was phenomenal and in total, over 60 people registered and took part. The success of the project was seen by the Curve Choir's performance at the Festival Choirs event that took place at Curve Theatre on 20th November, 2010 to a packed house.
This year the Choir establishes itself as a performing group in its own rights and comes back together to rehearse on 4th May, 2011 at Curve Theatre. Anyone who wishes to is invited to join.
