In 2006 Kainé Management Group were made aware of a need in Gambia. That need was for a school building in Gambia for pupils and teachers who had no were to meet but a makeshift hut. As an organisation that has as one of its aims to ‘raise the achievements and aspirations of disadvantaged groups’, Kainé Management had no hesitation in seeking to support in whatever ways that it could. As well as others local to the City Of Leicester, Kainé Management made a financial donation to the cause and were pleased to see the fruition of that that deed with the creation of the Leicester Kachume SDA School in Gambia.

The school has proved very popular and children are doing well from last reports received. Subsequent to the building of the school Kainé are keen to collate supplies that can be sent over to support the children’s educational needs.
