Kainé Management Group: Committee
Kainé Management committee currently has 5 hard working volunteers who invest their time and energy to see the success and expansion of the organisation. Coming from a variety of backgrounds they seek to use their own knowledge and experiences to see the organisation moving forward.
Maxine Chambers - Chairperson
Maxine has a number of years experience in both gospel arts and community activities. Maxine loves gospel arts and recognises it as her responsibility to contribute to the community in which she lives. Maxine works with the committee and staff to guide the organisation into taking full advantage of all opportunities. Maxine's work has been recognised by the nomination of a Community Achievers Award which she received in 2007.
Gregory Smith - Vice Chairperson
As well as holding the Vice Chair position, Gregory is also the Director of Kainé Gospel Choir and one of our lead tutors in gospel singing in both school and community settings. He is very excited about the developments that are taking place within the organisation and believes that gospel arts is forging itself as an important, influential and respected part of mainstream arts.
Carlone Lewis - Treasurer
As Treasurer, Carlone brings to Kainé Management Group a wealth of experience from working in various finance roles both in the private and public sectors where she currently serves as a Finance Manager. Her varied educational background also feeds into the overall management of finance and other activities of Kainé Management. As Youth Leader in her local church she also seeks to share her knowledge and experience in assisting with the work Kainé Management does with young people in the community.
Denise Roberts - Secretary
Denise has provided administrative support to the Kainé Management committee over the last two and a half years. As the former director of Leicester Central Children's Choir she believes in encouraging and supporting children and young people to develop their full potential within the arts. She has additionally used her skills within the audio/visual field to support the organisation's events and activities.
Loxson McKoy - Publicity/Promotions Officer
Loxson is the newest member of the management committee, elected to serve at the AGM 2008. Loxson sings with the Kainé Gospel Choir and has been active for a number of years. Loxson now volunteers as the publicity and promotions officer for Kainé Management Group and brings his creative experiences and ideas to the role.
