Kainé Management - Gospel Choir

Kainé Management Group: General

Kainé Management Group was officially constituted in May 2002 as a voluntary gospel arts project.  In June 2011, it registered as a private company limited by guarantee with charitable aims.  In the 9 1/2 years it has existed, it has grown from managing a gospel choir to having a broad programme of community, arts and education activities.

The organisation has trustees, a board of directors, part time and sessional stall and volunteers that help to implement its programming from its office based within the Leicester Creative Business Depot.  Together the team are able to:

  2. Develop and manage new and existing events.Children’s Gospel Festival, Women of Gospel Events, Festival of Choirs and the Kainé Showcase.
  3. Work in partnership with schools and colleges to run singing and cultural awareness workshops and work to raising the achievement of pupils.
  4. Engage in Cultural Activities – Sing Freedom, Black History Season, Martin Luther King Celebrations
  5. Work with the socially disadvantaged by running our Women Into Work and Make Do & Mend programmes and supporting the Kauchume SDA School in Gambia.
  6. Empower young people through  The Yes You Can Youth Club, Girls Can... and Junior Yes You Can Club and offering work placements and apprenticeships.

We are working hard to provide a better future for those we work with and are proud of the work we have done thus far.
